Welcome to the Sailors' pageInterest in yachting, sail and power, has seen a tremendous increase in the last few years, so we thought it was time to get a somewhat specialised page under way. Pages that are marked "under development" are always a little disappointing, so we have added some of our own ideas, but would really enjoy your comments. Please do not hesitate to let us know what YOU would like to see in the way of additions and improvements. In the meanwhile, Fair Winds.

Festivals and Regattasis one of the major events taking place on the Hudson . . . Pete Seegers' original project is now nearly 30 years old, tens of thousands of school children (and adults) are benefitting, and the Hudson River hasn't been cleaner in living memory. These folks are good friends of ours, and Sailors and Ecologists should visit Clearwater's Web Pages The Glandore ClassicRegatta: This is one of the most beautiful harbours on Ireland's South Coast, and the welcome couldn't be warmer. The '96 was marvellous, each one since has improved, next one 8-13 July 2003. Antigua Classic Regatta and Sailing Week: These well known events are held over the last two weekends of April, with Sailing Week spreading into May. Dozens of Classics and literally hundreds of racer/cruisers. The Bequia Easter Regatta: Every year this is one of the Caribbeans premiere events. Good welcome, great racing, fun events and more. |
