Our community
Prince Edward County, on the Canadian shores of Lake Ontario, was among the first settlements in Upper Canada more than two hundred years ago and became a home of shipping and ship building. Nowadays, the County combines quiet, traditional farming activities with modern high technology.
The Archives and Collections Society is a not-for-profit foundation, specializing in maritime conservation - and together with the Canadian Society of Marine Artists they represent one of the focus points of heritage and traditional activities in the County.
