The Access Centre is the single point of access to all long-term care facilities. Anyone can make a request for services or assessment of: yourself, family members or someone who would benefit from the services. Also the Access Centre is the single point of access to all long term care facilities and the only way to find accommodation in Nursing Homes and Homes for the Aged.

Services are funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, coordinated and monitored by the Access Centre case managers and provided by a variety of agencies under contract with the Access Centre.

Help people who have long-term physical disabilities get needed equipment and supplies. In some cases, ADP pays up to 75 per cent of the cost of the items like orthopaedic braces, wheelchairs, hearing aids, and breathing aids.

Provides primary care with 38 in-patient beds. Facilities for in-patients and out-patients include a twenty-four hour Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, Special Care Unit, Laboratory, Radiology, and Physiotherapy. Clinics at the hospital include those in Surgery, Urology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Pediatrics, Neurology, and Psychology.

Provides immediate support, information, and options for both male and female victims of sexual assault (ages 16 and up). Also provides ongoing individual and group counselling at the centre. An appointment is needed to receive individual counselling.
